Car Wash Shampoo
Car wash shampoo for every kind of wash: pH-neutral car shampoo concentrate, high-foam shampoo for foam cannons, wash and wax shampoo and matte-safe wash. Safe on wax and ceramic coatings.
How to choose a car wash shampoo
A good car shampoo does three things household soap does not: it stays pH-neutral so it cleans without stripping wax, sealant or ceramic coating; it is lubricating, so grit floats off the paint instead of being dragged across it; and it rinses clean without a film. Pick by what is already on your paint and how you wash.

Car shampoo, car wash liquid or car wash soap?
They are the same product under different names. What matters is not the label but the chemistry: dish soap is a degreaser that strips wax in a single wash, detergent powder is alkaline and gritty, and hair shampoo has no lubricating polymers and leaves a streaky conditioning film. We explain why in can hair shampoo be used for a car wash.
Using car shampoo in a foam cannon
For a snow-foam pre-wash, mix about 100 ml of KKE Car Wash Shampoo into 1 litre of water in the foam cannon bottle. Let the foam dwell for a few minutes in the shade, rinse it off top-down, then do the contact wash. For the thickest blanket of foam, use KKE Amaze.
Car wash shampoo FAQ
Is car shampoo safe on a ceramic coating?
A pH-neutral one is. Alkaline “heavy duty” or traffic-film washes eat into the top of a coating every time. KKE Car Wash Shampoo and KKE Plus Wash n Wax are both pH-neutral and coating-safe.
How much car shampoo do I need for one wash?
Less than most people pour. A super-concentrate like KKE Car Wash Shampoo needs 10–20 ml in half a bucket. Doubling the dose does not clean better; it only makes the car harder to rinse and more likely to spot.
What is the difference between car shampoo and wash and wax shampoo?
A plain car shampoo only cleans and leaves nothing behind, which is what you want before waxing or on matte paint. A wash and wax shampoo leaves a thin gloss-polymer film as the water sheets off, so each wash tops up the protection instead of wearing it down.
Which car shampoo is safe for matte paint?
One with no wax, silicone or gloss enhancers — anything that leaves shine behind will make matte panels blotchy. Use KKE 302 Matte Finish Wash or plain KKE Car Wash Shampoo, and never a wash and wax shampoo.
